The BaseEdge Pro measures the base edge angle of your ski, the angle between the base and the side edge at the bottom edge. This angle significantly affects grip, turn initiation, and stability.
How accurate is the measurement?
Resolution is 0.01°, accuracy is ±0.005°. This corresponds to the class used in World Cup ski racing.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. Place the device on the base, and the dial indicator shows the angle directly. Detailed instructions are included, and our videos explain every step.
Does the BaseEdge Pro work with snowboards?
Yes, the measuring principle is identical. The BaseEdge Pro works with all winter sports equipment with steel edges.
Does the device need calibration?
The device ships factory-calibrated. Recalibration is possible at any time using the included reference surface.

How do I care for the device?
